19. Avenue road – near the Gold Bazaar every evening there is a person who comes in a cart for Dose. His name is Narayan. This is not for the faint hearted or for those on diet. Typically he make about 20 dose at the same time and uses about 1/2 ltr of nandini ghee for the same. You can see him cut a new packet of Nandini Ghee every time he puts 20 dose batter. J - But very very nice Dose’s J

19.1 Behind this person in a street in Raja Market is one of the best chaat places I have seen.

20. Speaking about chaat – another good place to have it is near the Nehru Circle in Seshadripuram in between the Nehru Circle and the park opposite to Seshadripuram College. He had only Masala Puri, Pani Puri and Aloo Tiki, but you should check the place for crowd. I have never seen him after 8 PM as most of his stock is gone by then.

You get the best masala dosa in the entire universe there..:)…way better than MTR etc..
And eating there is an experience. Firstly you need to wait in a queue to get it. Only benches are present for sitting, no table etc. A leaf and a paper will be given to hold in hand.
You cannot order what you want. Every 10 mins one of the waiters will come with Khali dosa, idli, rice bath, etc. And sometimes they even dump it on ur leaf and move away..:)
If you don’t intend to eat these items then you need to wait for a long time. You might end up eating some of them as everyone would be eating whatever comes.

In the end after a long wait you get one masala dosa, half at times if ur unlucky. Two of us had gone along, we both half dosa each. Then we had to wait for 15 more minutes to get the other half..:)..And after a small discussion with the waiter convincing him that we got only a half the first time.

The masala dosa there is amazing indeed, worth the wait. And after you have had one masala dosa you need to walk out of the place. No second dosa allowed..:)

The craziest part is the bill. There would be an old man waiting outside. You will need to tell him whatever you ate, no one cross checks, and he would tell one approximate cost..:)

I am guessing this plac e has been there for a long time. Very few ppl know of this place. Was shocked when this place dint win the TOI Masala Dosa competition, then I realsied why it dint win. It was not there in the race..:)
